Does this sequel deliver Absolutely The Spongebob Movie Sponge Out of Water is just as good, if not better than the first feature film, making for so much zaniness that both kids and adults can enjoy. Once again, Plankton is on a mission to steal the Krabby Patty formula, but what this film is able to do, is distance itself from the other versions of this story and bring character bonding moments to an all new high for these characters. Not only is this film laugh out loud funny, but it also has just the right amount of heart to make a family film great. The film does however lose points for feeling a tad stale in the overall story, because even though it feels fresh while watching it, you cant help but roll your eyes a few times. This film pays homage to the classic episode of the show, and it does so in style. This is pretty much everything a Spongebob movie needs to be, even though it could use a better story. Overall, I had a blast watching this film and I definitely recommend it to fans and non fans alike.
